I searched and read several threads, but found no answer. What I am trying to do it get a complete list of all updates to windows xp SP3 so that I can download them and slipstream them into an install. The purpose of course is to save time when I reload a computer. It can take 3 hours to get all the updates through Windows Update, my goal is to cut that down to 15minutes or less. Trying to do this manually going through the list and downloading 1 KB900000 takes forever and something always seams to get missed.
(Side question: any Idea when SP4 might be release?). To get all the post SP3 updates in one go, use Autopatcher (free) I use nLite to slipstream into XP3 Also good is RyanVM wrote in message news:eff07503-cf09-4ada-b327-410d341450b9@communitybridge.codeplex.com. Neither of those really answers quite what I ask. I know how to slipstream manually and use Nlite, what I am looking for a hotfix kb etc. Patch list for all updates post servicepack 3.
I did search by hotfix and a couple other terms then sort by date and grab everything after sp3 release date. That got most, but even after that there were another probably 20 patches (not including.net which never would fully integrate all the patches properly) that I had look up and download manually. I had already checked the roadmap before I asked the question. I was just hoping, because I know microsoft does on occassion change things and back-track, if there were any rummors of a sp4 in the works, though I did not make that at all clear.
