A new Center for Vein Care is providing treatment for patients with varicose veins and chronic vein insufficiency. Symptoms of vein disease include pain, swelling, fatigue, and heaviness of the legs, as well as tenderness and itching around the veins. If not treated, these symptoms can progress to more serious chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), which can cause complications, such as rash in the lower leg, darkened discolored skin, bleeding, and ulcers of the leg.
“At our Outpatient Vein Center, patients receive minimally invasive procedures, which offer them the opportunity to return to normal activities soon after treatment.” – Dr. Andrea Hendrzak, Director, Endovascular and Venous Surgery. Soundcloud playlist android.
