Take the three screws off of the panel under the steering wheel, pull the panel off, then remove the 3-10mm nuts to remove the module (2 on top, 1 on bottom). Pull the module back and you will see a 5 digit code (among other things) the 5 digit code is the code for the doors. You have to remove the module to see the code, i tried using a small camera to find it without removing it and 2 of the digit where blocked from view. And it was easier to just remove the module. You dont have to actually remove it just twist it enough to see the code.

This is the location, because I actually found it. Where on a '2008' Taurus can I find the code for the factory keyless entry? Background (if it helps), the local Ford dealer wanted to sell me a 2000 Sable with an engine prob for $6G's (HA). I asked about a 500 Limited they had on Autotrader for. Thank you RStabb!

I looked under the dash to the left of the brake and there is a fuse panel/SJB mounted to a metal frame. No screws, just a tab clip holding it in place, so I lift the release tab and slide the assy out of the frame and look it over.front, back, sides, etc.no 5 digit code.

Like in my first post, I can see the 2 white stickers with bar codes, but no 5 digit 'numeric' code. The only 5 digit code is 'alphanumeric', so I guess this isn't it. I took a dental mirror and scanned the box all over and nothing appears to be printed on the SJB assy and there are no other stickers.

I have had this out about 5 times now and cannot possibly have missed even a square inch of this, but alas no code. Would anyone else be familiar with this model (2008) that might be able to help?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
