Distraught, confused, and half-wild with fear, Sarah Carter emerges alone from the Appalachian cave system where she encountered unspeakable terrors. Kyle and I are working in a summer hire program for most of vacation. The thing about being a summer hire is there really isn’t much for you to do. There aren’t a lot of jobs that summer hires are allowed, so most of the day is spent sitting at our computers waiting to be assigned a task. While it may at first not sound so bad, I mean getting paid to sit at a computer and do nothing sounds pretty easy right?

Well, after eight hours of it a day you start to go a little.crazy. So we decided to introduce a new segment to try to keep our spirits up, or at least our sanity intact. It’s called “The Descent” and documents our fall into madness through daily logs of our activities.

We hope you enjoy reading through our suffering! Today is part deuce of the epic series, “The Descent”. What crazy shenanigans will the dynamic duo find themselves in this time? 8:18-Kyle reveals his plan to form a travelling band with all of his friends, and then kill them. He grins madly.

8:21-They check Giantbomb. 8:24- Kyle contemplates the mysteries of greater fluid dynamics. 8:30-Will still can’t log into sign form. He punches wall in frustration. This was a mistake. 8:33-The wall punches Will back. He is unconscious.

8:35-Kyle has checked his mail, read Penny Arcade, and is now ready to go home. There are these 8 hours in the way, however. 8:56-We killed 20 minutes! 9:00-Will wakes up, disoriented and a little thirsty. 9:11-Kyle is hitting on Will.

9:43-Will cuts finger off with scissors. 9:50-Kyle surgically reattaches finger. With plunger.

9:51-They eat cake in celebration. 10:07-TIME FOR INVENTORY!!! Kyle rejoices.

10:54-Finished inventory! Now time for lunch and the day is half over! 10:54-oh wait, its only 10:54 11:04-Will is super duper happy that Missy posted something on the shpitz. Will realizes this post was the highlight of his day and he begins to cry. Kyle glares sternly.

11:10-Will wishes he was Christopher Walken. 11:29-Kyle is singing. And sweating blood.

Will is concerned. 12:00-Time for lunch!

12:54-Lunch break is over. Kyle stretches sensually. 1:01-Working furiously on a Screened quest. 1:11-Still working furiously, gotta earn that pay check somehow. 1:12-Kyle is having difficulty breathing. Will believes it was because of the large amount of paint chips he ingested. 1:21-They smack talk the computer.

1:22-Computer stops working. 1:36-They begin their preparations for world domination. 1:37-Will goes to the bathroom. 1:40-Will checks email. 1:41-Kyle sings Bohemian Rhapsody. The whole Bohemian Rhapsody.

1:42-Will checks email. 1:43-Kyle is still singing.

Didn’t mean to make you cry! If I’m not back again this time tomorrow! 1:46-Will hit Kyle over the head with fire extinguisher, knocking him unconscious. 1:58-Kyle woke up, believing that he was the last king of Scotland, and heir to the royal throne of Johannesburg.

2:06-MY LEGS ARE BOUNCING UNCONTROLLABLY! 2:16-Kyle is wet with anticipation. 2:27-wolf kebab roth vantage. 2:34-At around 2:00 time seems to stand still.

Can’t understand why, I asked Kyle and he just spat on me. It was green and is starting to sting. 2:48-Kyle returns from the bathroom holding a dead Ferret. 3:00-One more hour! Kyle has to stay here all night, working overtime on account of the ferret incident.

3:06-Kyle is staring off into space. He can see Saturn. 3:11-Kyle is sleeping.

This is not an exaggeration. 3:30-Co-worker steps on Kyle’s foot, waking him up. Kyle swears vengeance. 3:43-almost time to go, almost time to go, almost time to go! 3:44-watched the quick look for Tomena Sanner. Kyle’s eyeballs have imploded. 4:15-They’ve remained in the same spots for the past 30 minutes, luckily it’s time for Will to leave.

4:16-Kyle must stay. 4:30-Kyle tries burning a hole in the wall using only his glare. He gets migraine. 4:45-Kyle begins hallucinating. He follows a chrome Hippo into a dark alleyway full of leaches and Twizzlers. 4:55-Kyle snaps out of hallucination, finds himself naked in parking lot.
