You can also type a contrast value in the box. Increasing the contrast emphasizes the dark and light areas of the image, while decreasing the contrast reveals more details in the image’s gray areas. Show Scanner Interface: Check this box if you want to pre-scan a document and crop a portion of it before you complete the scan.
